The Public Interest Commissioner’s office acts as a resource and can advise provincial public entities about their role under the Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblower Protection) Act.

On March 24, 2022, the Commissioner’s office was pleased to host the first Alberta Public Interest Disclosure Conference. The conference provided training, and the opportunity to discuss emerging trends relevant to designated officers and other individuals involved with managing and investigating complaints under the Act.
