Commissioner staff to host educational sessions in Camrose and Drumheller

Edmonton – Staff from the Public Interest Commissioner’s office will visit Camrose on April 6^th and Drumheller on April 7^th to host educational sessions, in conjunction with the office of the Alberta Ombudsman.

“A significant focus of the awareness campaign we launched in 2013 is hosting educational sessions for public servants,” says Peter Hourihan, Alberta’s Public Interest Commissioner. “It’s important Commissioner staff attend outlying communities so public servants in and around a location have the opportunity to learn about our role and ask any questions they may have.”

Session locations and times are:

Tuesday, April 5^th @ 3:00 p.m. – Camrose
Gemini Centre, 2^nd Floor
6708 – 48 Avenue

Wednesday, April 6^th @ 3:00 p.m. – Drumheller
Riverside Centre Building, 2^nd Floor
180 Riverside Drive East
