Awareness

We want to connect directly with employees and managers of public entities covered under the Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblower Protection) Act. We also want to help Alberta’s public servants understand their options if they want to blow the whistle on wrongdoing.

Posters

Our poster series, below, is designed to help build that awareness in the workplace. We have begun sending these to Alberta’s public entities to display in employee work spaces.

If your office does not have any posters, or you’d like additional copies, contact us at info@pic.alberta.ca. Provide your name, job title, the public entity you work with, and the number of posters you’d like. We’ll respond as quickly as possible.

Presentations

Peter Hourihan, the Public Interest Commissioner, and our staff of investigators have been meeting with employees and managers of Alberta’s public entities to talk about the role our office plays in managing disclosures of wrongdoing and complaints of reprisals.
