Postal Strike Could Delay Written Correspondence

On Tuesday October 16, 2018 the Canadian Union of Postal Workers announced job action against Canada Post to begin Monday, October 22, 2018 if agreements cannot be made.

In a news release, posted to their website that same day, Canada Post stated:

“Canada Post will remain open for business, continuing to operate if the union decides to conduct rotating strikes across country next week.  We will notify customers of any disruptions planned by the union as soon as we are aware, however customers may experience some minor delays.”
